Do the new xKu LNBs have to be matched to the receivers or can you add a dish if the LNBs are all the new type?
For Shaw direct all previous receivers and both the new 800/830 will work on the old style LNB.
All 600, 630, 800 and 830 receivers will work on the new xKu LNB.
If you move a receiver from an "old" Ku to a "new" xKu, or vice versa, Shaw will need to be contacted and informed of the change, as they need to indicate it on your account for it to work.
We recommend having all the LNBs on your system be consistent and the same age to ensure no issues.
