Iridium 9575 Extreme High Capacity Rechargeable Li-Ion Battery (BAT51601)

• It can be used as a replacement for the 9575 battery or as a spare battery for extended travel.
• To install a new 9575 battery as a replacement or spare, remove the current 9575 battery by lifting the top "D" latch and pulling the battery forward.
• Install the new battery and as with any Li-on battery, charge overnight with the telephone turned off to ensure full cycle life prior to first use.

There are some cases when an older 9575 handset, manufactured in 2015 or before, will not successfully mate with a newer 9575 battery. The Product label will usually show “Assembled in Malaysia” and/or the handset is a revision lower than “J”, the revision can be identified on the IMEI label. Replacement batteries manufactured at about the same period of time as these older handsets are no longer available. It is possible that a new battery will successfully fit in older phones, but it is not guaranteed. In these cases, it is recommended that the user upgrades the handset.
