Explore the continent without missing your favourite TV programming.  RV TV options include portable domes which can be mounted on the roof of your RV or placed on a tripod or picnic table and full size fold-up antennas.

Portable dome antennas, such as the Winegard G3 or King Quest, start at around C$800.  Just add a Bell Satellite TV HD receiver, set the antenna outside with a clear view of the southern sky, power on the system and within about 2 minutes you're watching TV.  As the reflector size is is only 12 to 13 inches, or about half of the size of the dish on the side of your house, signal reception is limited to only the southern half of western provinces.  In eastern Canada reception is fine except northern Quebec.

Fold up RV antennas cost between C$2000 and C$3000 depending on the service provider and model.  Fold up antennas can only be used while stationary.  Once you park, press a button to raise the antenna which will automatically find your satellite and within a few minutes you're watching your favourite shows just abount anywhere in North America.
